‘9th International Yoga Day – Radcliffe School, Thane

The word yoga is derived from the Sanskrit root yuj, meaning “to yoke,” or “to unite”. The practice aims to create union between body, mind and spirit.
Radcliffe School ,Thane conducted The International Day of Yoga today. Volunteers from ISHA Foundation , which is founded and guided by Sadhguru conducted two sessions for students of Grade 2 to Grade 8.
The session comprised of showing videos and doing the asanas by all the students.
The basement area helped in creating a calm and spiritual environment, with soft music and burning of camphor and incense sticks ,making the ambience aromatic and positive.
