The Radcliffe Group of Schools, Ulwe, organised a plantation drive with the help of Lion’s Club with the aim of raising environmental consciousness among the young students and enabling them to maintain a connection to their roots.
All of the Lion’s Club luminaries were in attendance, including the GC Environment Ms.Saroj Sharma, the President, Ms. Gouri Despande, the Secretary and First VP, Mr. Hemant Lonkar, the Treasurer, Ms. Karuna Saxena, and the Keynote Speaker, Mr. Sandeep Despande. The tree-planting effort was successful because the kids took part in it with tremendous zeal and excitement.
